Artist Residency: A creative space where nature inspires experimentation
Performing arts residencies
Le Mas offers an inspiring environment for dance, theatre, and performing arts projects. A 50 m² dance studio, outdoor spaces for open-air experimentation, and flexible accommodation options allow artists to create, rehearse, and share their work in optimal conditions.
Residencies can focus purely on creative development or include a final showcase, performance, or audience exchange. A dining experience at Le Mas can also be arranged upon request.
Visual arts residencies
Each artistic discipline can find its own dedicated workspace at Le Mas: a practical workstation for computers and screens, a traditional studio with northern light, and our greatest asset — 27 hectares of meadows and woodland with no immediate neighbours.
The surrounding landscape offers exceptional conditions for painting, photography, film, Land Art, and conceptual projects. At the end of the residency, artists may organise an exhibition, screening, presentation, or performance to share their work.
Master classes & workshops
Thanks to our secluded location, artists can work without strict time constraints and fully immerse themselves in their practice.
Le Mas offers rehearsal spaces, including a half-grand piano, as well as collective and individual accommodation options. Master classes, intensive workshops, and rehearsal periods can be organised in a peaceful environment designed for concentration and exchange.
A dining experience at Le Mas is also available upon request.
Music creation residencies
Le Mas provides an ideal setting for musical creation, composition, and rehearsal. The peaceful surroundings are perfectly suited to individual writing projects, ensemble rehearsals, vocal work, and instrumental practice.
We welcome both individual musicians and groups, with collective or private accommodation available. Our experience includes hosting jazz ensembles and musical projects requiring a calm and inspiring environment.
A dining experience at Le Mas can be arranged.
DUO programme – Science & Art
Living and working together around a shared theme, or two interconnected areas of research, offers a unique opportunity to explore each other’s worlds.
By observing, questioning, and presenting their work through another perspective, participants open new paths towards innovation, deeper understanding, and meaningful connections.
Each participant benefits from their own dedicated workspace, while accommodation is shared and fully independent, including self-managed meals.
Applications for the DUO Programme must be submitted before 30 September each year to:
